Shirley Watson, City Commissioner, Ward 4
Shirley Watson is currently serving her third term as Commissioner for Ward 4. She was elected for her first term in May 2017 and re-elected to serve again in May 2020. Commissioner Watson graduated from G.W. Carver High School, Madame CJ Walker College, and the Integrity Seminary with a bachelor's degree in Christian Leadership and Community Organization. She has served on the Parks and Recreation Board and the Ennis Housing Authority.
Mrs. Watson (widowed) is the mother of three boys, Phillip, Frederick, and Patrick, and one daughter, Charlotte. She enjoys traveling, gardening, and serving her community wherever needed.
