On June 18, 2024 the Ennis City Commission approved a Resolution ordering a Special Election to be held on September 7, 2024 for the purpose of electing a Mayor Pro Tem At-Large to fill a vacancy for a term expiring May 2026.
The candidate filing period is June 18, 2024 - July 1, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. Citizens of Ennis interested in filing an application to run can access the Candidate Packet at the following link:
