Foster Care Inspections

General sanitation inspections, also known as environmental inspections, are required by foster care, and adoption agencies before licensing is approved and may be required annually or biannually after the license is approved.

Request an Inspection
The City of Ennis Department of Health Services requires a written request for these inspections.  The request must include your name, address, and a daytime phone number.

If you request a foster/adoptive home inspection, we will contact you to set up a time for the inspection. If you are part of a daycare that is open for regular hours during the week, we will conduct the inspection during this time.
