Museum

The City of Ennis was established as a town in 1872 and was named after Cornelius Ennis, Director of the Houston & Texas Central (H&TC) Railroad. Watch a brief video of the history of Ennis, enjoy the railroad memorabilia, the dioramas, the depot replicas, a china exhibit from the old rail lines, Czech dolls from the old country & more. The Ennis Railroad and Cultural Heritage Museum is located on the east side of the railroad tracks in downtown Ennis.

Advance Reservations for large groups only can be arranged for Monday tours.
