At 18.5 acres, Lions Park trail amenities make it a daily tradition for leisure walkers, joggers, and those who just want to relax around the large pond. The main attraction is the ½ mile paved walking path featuring the Ennis Library's Story Walk, 20 reading stations containing the children's book of the month. Benches and overlooks along the path allow patrons to take in the beauty of this serene property. Large trees are abundant throughout the area and include turn-of-the-century lighting for a nostalgic atmosphere. Lions Park houses a covered pavilion, covered playground, restroom facilities, a "Little Library" used book exchange, and all the relaxation one can take! Fishing is allowed along the banks of the pond.
