Our Department is focused on the needs of our community and visitors.  We are strongly committed to being a Department that understands our roles and responsibilities.  Education, Prevention, Building Inspections, Planning, Code Enforcement and Emergency Management define our purpose.  

The Ennis Planning, Development and Inspection Services Department stands for the purpose of serving our community, whether it’s residential, commercial, industrial or planning. Our department is staffed by a group of extremely qualified personnel to fit your building and planning needs.
