The City of Ennis has declared a Local State of Disaster Caused by Severe Weather due to the April 26th torrential rains.

Reporting
City of Ennis, the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) is asking for our help in reporting property damage from the severe weather we recently experienced.
The information collected will help officials identify resource needs and monetary support from various governmental resources.
As explained on the survey, this is not a replacement for contacting your insurance provider and not a guarantee for government or FEMA assistance.
Please also notify your private insurance provider.

Monday April 29th 12:15pm
Ennis Parkway: City Staff is conducting an emergency assessment of the washed out section of Ennis Parkway with the intent to reopen the road as soon as it is safe to do so. We will provide updates as we have additional information.
Tuesday April 30th 3:00pm
Important Update Regarding Bardwell Lake Water Level
The National Weather Service in coordination with water management office is projecting Bardwell Lake will rise 3 additional feet with the rain on the ground currently and inflows from upstream. They are not releasing any water right now due to elevated water levels downstream. With this information and more rain predicted for later in the week, all boat ramps will be closed and some of the camping loops until further
notice.
