Ennis, Texas – March 8th, 2025 – In the wake of the recent severe weather incident that impacted our community, the City of Ennis is taking immediate and proactive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of its residents.
The City of Ennis is actively collaborating with Oncor and Atmos Energy to restore any disrupted services as quickly and safely as possible. Our emergency response teams are on the ground, working diligently to address immediate concerns and assist those affected by the storm.
In addition to these efforts, the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) has implemented the iSTAT Damage Survey Reporting system to assess the impact of the storm and gather crucial information about damages across the area. The objective of this survey is to help state and local emergency management officials across Texas identify and gain an understanding of damages that have occurred during recent natural disaster activity. Reporting damages to Emergency Management is a voluntary activity, is not a substitute for reporting damage to your insurance agency, and does not guarantee disaster relief assistance. Residents can report damage online at https://damage.tdem.texas.gov/.
Mayor Kameron Raburn stated, “The safety of our residents is our top priority. We are committed to providing timely information and support during this challenging time. I urge everyone to stay informed through our Severe Weather Information Hub and to reach out for assistance if needed”
The City of Ennis remains dedicated to the health and safety of our community. We appreciate the resilience of our residents and their cooperation as we navigate this situation together.
